Gua Sha massage, or scraping massage, is a massage that originated in ancient China. The word itself consists of two hieroglyphs: "gua" - means "to scratch" and "sha" - means "superfluous" or "bad", in literal translation it means - "to scrape out the bad." Chinese scraping massage differs significantly from the usual European one. The secret of Gua Sha massage is that it affects primarily not the muscles and internal organs, but the capillaries of the skin, thereby helping to remove toxins, improving the overall tone of the body and skin, and improving blood circulation and lymphatic drainage. Remember that the skin is the first line of defense for your body's health!
