What’s MORE important when doing lash extensions?

✨ Isolation or Application?

I’ll go first… ISOLATION. 👏

Don’t get me wrong, application is extremely important. Placement, direction, distance from the lash line, adhesive control, and overall styling all play a huge role in creating a beautiful set.

BUT… none of that matters if your isolation isn’t on point.

Think about it:

👁️ Good isolation = a clean foundation.
You need to properly isolate one natural lash before attaching an extension. This helps prevent lashes from sticking together and allows each natural lash to grow and shed independently.

👁️ Poor isolation can affect retention AND the client’s comfort.
When neighboring natural lashes are stuck together, they can pull against each other as they grow. That can create discomfort, tension, premature shedding, and an overall messy grow-out.

👁️ Application is where the artistry comes in.
Once you have clean isolation, THEN you can focus on your placement, direction, styling, symmetry, and creating that perfect lash line.

So in my opinion:

Isolation is the foundation.
Application is the artistry.
You need BOTH for a truly great set. 🤌🏼

A little redness after brow lamination + waxing can be completely normal 🤍

Fresh brows = fresh skin! Waxing temporarily removes the top layer of dead skin cells and can cause mild irritation, while brow lamination involves products that can make the surrounding skin feel a little sensitive. Because of this, you may notice some temporary redness immediately after your appointment.

🌿 What’s normal:
• Mild redness around the brows
• Slight warmth or sensitivity
• A little tenderness after waxing
• Redness that gradually settles over the next few hours

I always recommend keeping the area clean, avoiding touching or rubbing the brows, and following your aftercare instructions.
