Your Western Slope mountain wedding deserves hair that can handle the mountains. 🏔️🤍

Wind. Dry Colorado air. Long wedding days. Getting ready somewhere miles from a traditional salon.

Mountain weddings are beautiful—but your hair has to be ready for the adventure, too.

Here’s why I love working with Colorado Mountain brides:
✨ I come to you.
No squeezing your bridal party into a salon. I travel to your venue or getting-ready location so you can stay where the magic is happening.

✨ I know Colorado hair.
Our dry climate, altitude, wind, and weather can all affect how your hair behaves. Your style needs to be beautiful and thoughtfully prepared for the environment.

✨ Your hair should feel like YOU.
Whether you're dreaming of romantic waves, a polished updo, or something effortlessly undone, I want you to look back at your wedding photos and still recognize yourself.

✨ I specialize in bridal hair.
Your wedding morning isn't the time to experiment. Having a stylist who understands bridal timelines, longevity, extensions, veils, accessories, and the little details that make a difference means one less thing for you to worry about.

From Grand Junction to Telluride, Aspen, Crested Butte, Ouray, Palisade, and beyond, I love being part of these beautiful Western Colorado wedding days.

If you're planning a 2027 mountain wedding, my bridal waitlist is currently open. 🤍

5 years ago, we said “I do” in Crested Butte. 🤍

We were living in Denver, planning a destination wedding in the mountains, and had absolutely no idea what the next five years would hold.

Now, five years later, our lives look completely different.

We’ve grown, moved, built a life together, rebuilt my business from the ground up and this year we’re celebrating our anniversary while on maternity leave, cuddling our baby boy and becoming a family of three. 💙

It’s crazy how quickly life changes — and how the moments you spend so much time planning become the memories you hold onto forever.

That’s probably why I love bridal hair so much.

I know what it feels like to plan a wedding from hours away, coordinate all the little details, and hope that when the day finally arrives, everything feels exactly the way you imagined it.

For my 2027 brides planning a Colorado destination wedding, I get it. And I’d love to be one less thing you have to worry about on your wedding morning. 🤍

Here’s to five years of marriage, a lifetime of memories ahead, and the little boy who has already changed our story in the best possible way. I love you, Patrick!

Want your blonde to look good longer between appointments? Start with your shower. 🚿

The products you use at home can make a huge difference in how your color looks between salon visits.

✨ Use a professional shampoo + conditioner ( I LOVE Davines Oi shampoo and conditioner)
✨ Don't overuse purple shampoo — it can make blonde look dull or overly cool
✨ Protect your hair from heat
✨ Keep your hair hydrated
✨ Don't wait until your hair feels dry or damaged to start caring for it

As your stylist, I create the color.

Your at-home routine helps preserve it. 🤍

Beautiful blonde is a team effort, ladies. 💕

If you’re new here, hi. I’m Annji — and this is what I love doing behind the chair. 🤍

I’m a modern blonding specialist, which means I’m a little obsessed with creating blonde that feels dimensional, intentional, and easy to live with.

But blonde isn’t the only thing you’ll find in my chair.

✨ Modern blonding + lived-in color — customized to your natural color, lifestyle, and maintenance budget.

✂️ Bobs + lobs — I have a soft spot for a really good shorter haircut. The kind that falls into place, has movement, and makes you feel instantly put together.

🤍 Bridal hair — I travel throughout Western Colorado to create polished, romantic styles that feel like you on one of the biggest days of your life.

And perhaps most importantly, I specialize in creating a calm, private salon experience where you can actually relax, have a good conversation, and leave feeling like the best version of yourself.

If you've been following along for a while, thank you for being here.

And if you're new? Welcome! I'm so glad you found me.

I’m currently taking some time away from the studio to welcome our baby boy, but I’ll be back behind the chair in November. 💙

If you’ve been thinking about becoming a client, join my waitlist through the link in my bio and I’ll see you in the studio soon.

Want your blonde to look expensive and polished? It's probably not about going lighter. 👀

There’s a difference between being blonde and having a really beautiful, polished blonde.

The blondes that look the most expensive usually have a few things in common:

✨ Dimension.
Not every piece of hair needs to be the same level of brightness. A little depth is what gives blonde its richness and makes the lighter pieces pop.

✨ Intentional placement.
Brightness around the face can completely change how a color looks. Where we put the light matters just as much as how light we make it.

✨ The right tone.
“Cooler” doesn't automatically mean better. The right tone is the one that complements your skin, natural color, and overall look — not simply whatever blonde is trending.

✨ Healthy shine.
This might be the most important one. When the hair is healthy, conditioned, and shiny, the entire color looks more elevated.

✨ A soft grow-out.
A color that looks beautiful the day you leave the salon is great. A color that still looks beautiful 8–12 weeks later? That's the goal.

Expensive-looking hair isn't about having the most complicated color or spending the most money.

It's about intentional color, beautiful dimension, healthy hair, and a stylist who knows when to stop. 🤍

And honestly? That's the kind of blonde I'll choose every time.

3 things I wish every blonde client knew before sitting in my chair 👇🏼

After years of creating blondes, I’ve learned that getting beautiful color is only half the job. Knowing how to maintain it is what makes the difference.

1. You don't always need more highlights.
If your hair feels like it’s getting lighter and lighter but somehow looks dull, flat, or dry, adding more brightness may not be the answer. Sometimes you need a gloss, a little depth, or simply a break from lightening.

2. Your blonde should work with your lifestyle AND your budget.
Beautiful hair shouldn't feel like a financial burden or require more time than you're willing to give it. If you don't want to be in the salon every 6 weeks or your budget doesn't allow for frequent appointments, we can create a color that works around that.
I’d rather create a beautiful, dimensional blonde that you can comfortably maintain than a high-maintenance color that leaves you feeling like you're constantly overdue for your next appointment. Your color should fit into your real life — not the other way around.

3. Healthy hair will always look more expensive than overly processed hair.
I would rather have you leave my chair with a slightly less-bright blonde that is shiny, healthy, and dimensional than push your hair past its limits just to get one shade lighter.

The best blonde isn't necessarily the brightest blonde.

It's the one that looks beautiful on you, fits your lifestyle, and makes you feel like yourself. 🤍

Save this for your next blonde appointment — and send it to your blonde bestie who needs to hear #1. 👀

A beautiful blonde isn’t always about making the hair blonder.

Sometimes, the best color is knowing when to leave something alone.

One of my favorite parts of being a blonding specialist is creating color that actually makes sense for the woman wearing it — her natural color, her lifestyle, how often she wants to be in the salon, the condition of her hair, and how she wants it to look 8, 10, or 12 weeks from now.

Because anyone can make hair lighter.

The real skill is knowing how light to go, where to place the brightness, when to add depth, and when to simply let the hair breathe.

This particular transformation is a perfect example of that.

The goal wasn't just “make her blonde.”

The goal was dimensional, bright, soft, grey blending and effortless — the kind of blonde that still looks beautiful as it grows out.

And that’s always the goal in my chair:
✨ beautiful today
✨ beautiful as it grows
✨ healthy enough to keep doing it

Even while I’m taking a little time away from the salon, I’ll be sharing some of the things I’ve learned over the years about creating and maintaining beautiful blonde hair.

Because your best blonde shouldn't just look good when you leave the salon. It should work for your life, too. 🤍

Pregnancy has definitely changed my beauty routine, and lately I’ve been loving products that make me feel refreshed, cared for, and a little more put together – even when I’m tired and don’t have the energy for a full routine.

These are the five things I keep reaching for:

My morning wake up call. I love keeping this roller cold by having it in the freezer and using it to help reduce the look of morning puffiness, especially around my face and eyes. It’s also just a really nice, calming way to start the day.

My tired – pregnancy – eyes best friend. This helps brighten the under eye area and makes me look a little more awake when I definitely don’t feel it.😂 Say goodbye to dark circles and under eye bags…. This has been a game changer for me. The best part?! It’s less than $20 on Amazon!

My little skincare luxury. I love this for keeping my skin hydrated and helping soften the appearance of Fein lines and texture. It’s one of those products that makes my skin feel extra, smooth and cared for.

My Sunday night reset. These masks give my skin a major hydration boost and leave it feeling softer, plumper and refreshed. Perfect for my Sunday night when I have a few hours to unwind and get ready for the week.

Because skin care shouldn’t stop at your forehead! This is my little scalp care ritual to help support a healthy scalp and give my roots some extra love. I have especially enjoyed having a dedicated scalp product while my usual hair routine has been pretty simple during pregnancy.

Today’s makeover is a perfect example of how customized color can completely refresh your look.

My client came in with grown out lowlights from our previous appointment in April, and wanted something softer, blonder, brighter, and more cohesive.

We transitioned her into a rich, honey blonde all over — a shade that flatters her skin tone and brings back beautiful shine.

This appointment included:
✔️ Incorporating haircolor and highlights
✔️ Full, even blonde coverage
✔️ A flattering haircolor tone that grows out gracefully
✔️ Healthy, touchable results without damage

If you’re in Grand Junction, CO and looking for a hairstylist who is a hair color expect that specializes in blonding, grey blending, dimensional color, and natural-looking transformations, I would love to take care of you. 💕

I’ll be on maternity leave soon! 🤍

Over the next several weeks, I’ll be stepping away from the salon to soak in every moment with our newest little addition.

If you’re here because you’re looking to book an appointment, here’s what you need to know:

✨ My books are currently closed while I’m away.
✨ My schedule will reopen once I know exactly when I’ll be returning.
✨ The best way to be the first to know is to join my email list and keep an eye on my Instagram for updates.

To my incredible clients—thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your hair, cheering me on throughout this pregnancy, and allowing me the space to enjoy this special season with my family. Your kindness and support mean more than you know.

If you’re a future guest or a 2027 bride, don’t worry—I can’t wait to welcome you when I’m back. Until then, I’ll be enjoying this chapter of becoming a mom.

I’ll see you soon. 🤍
