Willful Evolution

Replace “witch” with “healer,” and you’ll find a lot of overlap throughout history.

Not everyone labeled a witch was a healer, but many folk healers, herbalists, ritual practitioners, and people working outside accepted religious or medical traditions were accused of witchcraft.

Energy worker. Herbalist. Folk healer. Alchemist. Keeper of old knowledge. Someone working with nature, intuition, ritual, and the connection between body, mind, and spirit.

The word “witch” has carried a lot of meanings throughout history. “Healer” is the part of that history I resonate with.

Tomorrow’s full moon is in Aries, opposite the Sun in Libra, and I had to laugh because yours truly, moi, is an Aries Sun with a Libra Rising.

So apparently this one has my name on it.

Aries is very this is who I am, this is what I want, this is where I’m going.

Libra is more okay, but how does that affect everyone else in the room?

And honestly, I think most of us spend a ridiculous amount of our lives bouncing between those two things.

How much of myself do I owe other people?

How much compromise is healthy?

At what point does keeping the peace become abandoning yourself?

And on the flip side, when does “being true to myself” become an excuse to stop considering anyone else?

That feels way more interesting to me than the usual full moon message of “release what no longer serves you.”

Neptune is also sitting close to this moon, which adds intuition, imagination and emotion to the mix, but also the possibility of projection and seeing what we want to see.

9/26/2026 = 27 = 9

Nine is associated with completion, perspective and the end of a cycle.

Meanwhile, 2026 is a 1 Universal Year, which is all about beginnings.

I actually love that combination.

A 9 day inside a 1 year.

Something can be ending while something else is already beginning.

You don’t always get a clean break between the two.

Sometimes you’re grieving one version of your life while quietly building the next one at the exact same time.

And maybe that’s the real Harvest Moon energy.

Not some dramatic cosmic purge.

Just taking a look at what grew, what didn’t, what surprised you, what exhausted you, and what you’re willing to plant again.
