One of my favorite parts of working with curly hair is slowing down, observing how each curl naturally wants to fall, and creating a shape that works with the hair, not against it.

I wanted to start this post with an update on the salon space. Natalie has decided not to move forward with the salon buildout so we will be staying at our current location at the Phenix Salon Suites in Edgewater.
I’m excited to share a few new additions to my service menu starting August 1st!

Gray blending 🤗😍
This was a partial head lowlight with toner to pop the silvers and a smudge root to keep it from looking streaky in any way.
The result is richer tones with way more "pepper" than "salt" but looks natural and will grow out beautifully!
A fresh curly cut, a rich red refresh, and styling that lets her natural texture give her rockstar vibes. 🌶🔥🤘🏻
One of the things I'm loving most as I dive deeper into curl education is seeing how the right shape can completely transform curls. It's not about forcing your hair to be something it's not—it's about working with your natural texture to create movement, definition, and a cut that fits your lifestyle.
