Driftless Roots

How it ended 👉🏼

How it started.

I had to jump on this one. 😆

I’m not usually one for making memes, but I am a fan (and a total nerd) when it comes to scalp health and the important role it plays.
Intentional scalp care is so much more than a beauty ritual.

It supports a healthy scalp, nourishes your hair, and can have a profound impact on calming and regulating your nervous system.

Whether it’s a simple 15-minute daily ritual at home or a bespoke in-salon scalp treatment, taking time to care for your scalp is an investment in both your hair and your overall well-being.

Healthy scalp. Healthy hair. Happy nervous system. ✨

Have questions about scalp care or wondering where to start? DM me—I’m always happy to chat.

It’s the little things…

Morning vibes.

I’m not often at the salon early enough to witness the disco ball catching the suns magic but when I do it makes my happy place even happier! ☀️ 🪩 ❤️

I love hearing when my guests take time to soak in a meditative walk around Sloan’s Lake before or after their services at Driftless Roots 🤍

For me, sunrise at Sloan’s is my favorite—everything feels so still, the colors can be both soft and glowing and the whole lake holds this quiet kind of magic.

All of this beauty came from the same 3-mile sunrise walk… a reminder of how much beauty is available when we slow down and tune in 🌅 ✨

Next time you’re coming in for a relaxing service, consider giving yourself a little extra- you time - and take in a stroll around the lake, right outside of Driftless Roots door.

full moon magic vibes in the salon today

Can you believe February is almost here?
I wanted to start sharing the love with my current guests and guests-to-be. 💗

The world needs a lot of love right now. When we care for ourselves with intention, that care ripples outward into the world around us. 💗

✨ I realized I haven’t been sharing the scalp health magic that happens in my chair…

This guest left renewed in a truly holistic way—mind, scalp, and spirit. See the results for yourself-swipe to view the Botanical Scalp Ritual glow-up. 🤍
