Dear Friends,

With a heavy heart and a profound sense of nostalgia, I sit down to write this post today. It is with mixed emotions that I announce the closing of Southern Exposure Salon after 20+ years of operation.

I have been honored to own Southern Exposure for 11 of it's years, and the journey has been an incredible one, filled with countless memories, beautiful transformations, and an unbreakable bond with staff, clients and partners. It's been an honor to serve this amazing community.

Over the years, we've styled hair, boosted confidence, and shared stories. We've laughed, cried, and grown together. Our salon isn't just a place for beauty; it's been a place where connections were made, and dreams took shape.

To our amazing clients, thank you for entrusting us with your hair, nails and skin and for allowing us to be a part of your lives. Your loyalty and support have been the cornerstone of our success.

To my talented team of stylists and staff (near and far), your dedication, inspiration and hard work have made Southern Exposure Salon shine. I appreciate all you have done for this business.

As we close this chapter of Southern Exposure Salon, we do so with immense gratitude for the love and support you've shown us over the years. This decision has not been easy, but sometimes, change is the path to new adventures and opportunities.

Thank you for being a part of our story, for your friendship, and for allowing us to be a part of your lives. We are forever grateful for the love and support you've shown us.

Southern Exposure Salon has an opening for an inspired, fun & professional stylist. Whether you would be bringing clients or are ready to build - you will be booked from the start.
Since 2005, the salon has been located in the Red Mountain Plaza across from Red Mountain Grill in Dillon. We have a bright, sunny atmosphere that lends itself to the locals that we primarily serve. With over 60 NEW clients a month through the door, there is more than enough opportunity to succeed here. We are a well rounded group of hard working, inspired stylists. We have a fun, trusting atmosphere with no drama. We are focused on why we live in this beautiful place, making time for fun and recreation is a priority.
We are offering very flexible options for stylists looking to join our salon.

Southern Exposure is seeking a front desk experience specialist to join our salon family. Full Time hours available up to 40 hours per week, year round work.

The front desk is the ❤️ of the salon, and responsible for managing scheduling, client experience, upkeep and sanitation of facilities, salon supply levels and replenishment, retail inventory, administrative tasks, staff liaison and overall daily workflow.
The right candidate will have a natural attention to detail and ability to multitask, with an upbeat attitude. Effective communication, professional personal/social skills and flexibility are also key traits. Must work well with different types of personalities!

Position reports to the owner and is full-time and year-round. Ski or Rec Pass reimbursement program available. Product and tanning employee discounts. Discounted Hair & Nail services after 3 mo. FT position $31,200-$33,200/year. Pay DOE, also eligible to earn sales commissions, spiffs & tips.

Position reports to the owner and is part-time and year-round. Product and tanning employee discounts. Discounted Hair & Nail services after 3 mo. Pay DOE, Hourly + commission, employee incentives and tips.

EDUCATION
> Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE
> Required: Two or more years’ experience in a retail and/or service industry, with heavy concentration on customer service and/or sales.
> Preferred: Salon experience.
