I've been a local resident of Delta County since 1983. I went to school in Colorado in a little town called Hotchkiss I've lived in Paonia for over 20 years.
Hi everyone,
My name is Jaime Mora (Verdeja) Married to Antonio Mora for over 24 years, we have 3 beautiful kids together Jaquelin Mora, Christo Mora and Princessa Mora. One huge reason why I loved to go to school was because of sports. At such a young age I got diagnosed with asthma and I was no longer able to do sports, so I decides to drop out of school. I ended up received my GED in 2004 because I really wanted to set myself up for success with a career. That is when I decided to enroll myself in Beauty School in Delta. With my mother's support financially and emotionally I was able to finish and get my Nail License in 2007. I'm grateful that she was there for me and that she believed in me. Because of her, I am honored to say that I'll be opening my very own salon in August 2024. I really didn't think that my dream as a little girl was possible, but we've came such a long way and here we are, getting ready to turn the page to a new chapter in my life. I would love to invite all of you to join me on my new journey. Please help support my small business by sharing all posts in the future and giving positive feedback.

🚨 Nail Besties, We Need to Talk… 🚨
Raise your hand if you’ve ever sat in a nail appointment thinking:
👀 “That’s not exactly the shape I asked for…”
👀 “That flower looks more like a potato…”
👀 “I don’t actually love this color…”
But then you smile and say, “I love it!” because your nail tech is your friend, your cousin, or you’ve been with them since they were practicing on plastic hands. 😂
Ladies, your nail artist is not a mind reader. We genuinely want to know what you like, what you don’t like, and what you’d like changed. Feedback isn’t mean—it’s helpful!
The truth is, if nobody tells us when something isn’t quite right, how are we supposed to improve? The best nail artists are constantly learning, growing, and perfecting their craft.
As for me? I’ll happily take the compliments AND the constructive criticism. Both help me become a better nail artist for you. 💖
So please:
✨ Tell us if you’d like a different shape.
✨ Tell us if the design isn’t what you envisioned.
✨ Tell us if you’d rather have a different color.
✨ Tell us if your nails are giving “not quite” instead of “OMG YES!”
Just one small favor…
💅 Tell us BEFORE the gel is cured and the top coat is on. Because once it’s cured, we’re both about to start a whole new workout session. 🫣😂
Remember: Your nail appointment is a team effort. We can’t create your dream nails if you don’t tell us what your dream looks like! 💕
