Scroll to see all before, middle and afters. Really wanted to talk about this one with some of the recent conflicts that have left me questioning my existence. This is another almost exact same scenario, one of the very common issues I see with the front top hair being straighter and longer the underneath and back. And with not touching the underneath base length at all if not just a bare mini clean up, how much different… but so much better the hair looks. This gal was so hesitant to come in. Her wife came with her and cried tears of joy after seeing her wife love your hair after so many years of hating it. They both expressed their appreciation and hugged me. It touched my heart and reminded me why I do what I do, and how much I love it! 😍

Scroll to see all before and afters! This is perfect example, and I see it quite a bit. You see a lot of length in front, but it’s coming from the top of the head. The top hair grows faster than the length its self and is often less curly as well so it’s a double negative. You have your base length that is tighter and shorter than the top/front. This creates the triangle/Christmas tree shape, and is why most curly girls dislike their hair and just wear it up. The only way to eliminate the triangle shape is if the base length is the longest and everything else above it gets shorter as it moves up the head. This means you are going to lose all the “long hair” that is coming from the wrong place on your head. If you want change, you have to accept the change. It can be a little shocking at first but then we can keep it shaped so you like the way it looks while it grows out together and you will like it so much better on the long run.

Week one July 2026 highlights

There may be a little more frizz happening by day 5… but have spent less than 10 min on my hair in the last 5 days including my wash and style. I’ll take it! It’s crazy what the right products and styling methods will do! 😍
