The golden one. Calendula grows almost anywhere you give it sun, and it has followed apothecaries and gardeners for centuries — the flower people reached for when they wanted something gentle.

In OSHARA I steep its petals slowly into oil until the color bleeds gold. What it lends is softness: a comforting feel, a calm on the skin, a botanical that suits skin that flushes easily.

The bright fruit the wild rose leaves behind after the bloom is gone — one of the richest botanical sources of vitamin C, prized for centuries by the people who gathered it here.
