We talk so much about what we put on our skin, but not enough about what we use to put it on.

Reusable makeup sponges are porous, so they can hold onto moisture, product residue, sebum and skin debris making regular cleaning and proper drying an important part of makeup hygiene. 🤍

Sundays are usually for family entirely. It’s a non negotiable for me. 🤍

But some Sundays, you have to wear a few different hats. He has three different birthday parties to attend, and I had a conference in the morning!

So I decked up in a saree and moderating a panel on hair regrowth and exosomes in the morning, and ran off to join at the birthday party, taking off the “work” hat, and becoming a kid again (albeit in very unsuitable attire!). 🥹

I guess balance doesn’t always mean giving equal time to everything.

Sometimes, it simply means being fully present in whichever role you’re in. ✨

I always tell my patients: don’t just look at the SPF. Look at what’s inside your sunscreen.

SPF tells you about UVB protection, but the UV filters determine how your sunscreen protects against both UVA and UVB and how stable that protection is throughout the day.

Newer filters like Bemotrizinol, combined with Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide and Uvinul A Plus, are a great example of how sunscreen technology is evolving.

And honestly, when the formula is lightweight, non-greasy and sits well under makeup, you’re much more likely to use it every single day which is what really matters.

You can absolutely use a gua sha, jade roller or even ice for a nice de-puffing and lymphatic drainage moment but those bristles? Not something I’d recommend for dry skin.
