Beautiful PhiBrows aren’t about how much pigment you can put into a brow. Quite the opposite.

When PhiBrows are created beautifully, each individual stroke is designed to mimic a real brow hair — following the natural direction of growth and working with the brow that is already there, rather than covering it.

We’ve been getting so many questions about our Korean Lash Lift, so we thought we’d properly explain why this treatment is so special — and why it’s different to the lash lift you might already know.

The simplest way to explain it is that it’s a much more considered way of lifting the natural lashes.

With a traditional lash lift, the lashes are generally placed onto a curved shield before the lifting solution does its work. With the Korean technique, we soften and relax the lashes first, which gives us much more freedom to work with them and really control the lift, direction and shape afterwards.

It does take a little longer, but there’s a reason for that. We’re not trying to give every lash the same curl. We’re looking at your natural lashes, how they grow, their condition, your eye shape and what will actually look beautiful on you.

And the results really are gorgeous.

The lift comes right from the root, so you get to see so much more of your natural lash length. The lashes look beautifully separated, longer and lifted, and the whole eye just looks that little bit more open and awake.

We also love the more lash-conscious approach of the Korean technique. Depending on the professional system being used, it can involve gentler processing and less reliance on adhesive — but, as with any lash treatment, the real difference comes down to using the right products, the right timings and understanding the lashes you’re working with.

And this is where experience really matters.

The Korean Lash Lift is a more modern, precision-led approach to the traditional lash lifting. And while the finished result is beautiful, it’s what happens during the treatment that really sets it apart.

The Korean technique takes a different approach. The lashes are first gently softened and relaxed, allowing your artist to then work with them when they are more flexible — carefully controlling the lift, direction, separation and final shape.
