Unbeatableflaky

A friend of mine asked me to find a wife for her son.
She was not joking. She said, Flaky, you know everybody. Find me a nice girl for my boy.
And I sat there, and I could not think of one single person. Not one. And I know everybody. I know your mother. I know your aunty. I know your cousin that just finished her masters.
But every young person I could think of was either taken, or has been talking to somebody for four years with nothing to show for it, or has quietly given up and stopped saying it out loud.
It is not that there are no good people. It is that nobody introduces anybody any more. We stopped doing the one thing our parents did for each other.
So I went and built something.
It is called 21230. A private matchmaking service for young Africans living outside Africa, aged 21 to 30. It is not an app. There is no swiping and no strangers. They apply, I read every single application myself, I sit with them on a call, and I only ever introduce two people when both of them have said yes.
Applications are open now.

If somebody came into your mind while you were reading this, send it to them. That is exactly how this is meant to work. You may not need it yourself, but somebody in your phone does.
Now tell me the truth. Who did you think of?
