🐾 Dear Rita’s Grooming Spa clients,

I’m writing this post not for the first time, but unfortunately, I feel that I need to remind everyone about this once again. ❤️

Every morning, I send a reminder message to my clients about their dog’s appointment for the following day. I do this because I want to help make sure nobody forgets their appointment.

However, today I was once again faced with a situation where a morning appointment was simply forgotten. 😔

I completely understand that things happen in life. Plans can change, unexpected situations can come up, and sometimes an appointment needs to be cancelled or rescheduled. I always try to be understanding and flexible. ❤️

But please remember that behind every appointment there is my time, my work, and another dog waiting for an appointment.

It is honestly very upsetting and disappointing for me to see dogs waiting for an appointment while I cannot accommodate them because my schedule is already fully booked.

Therefore, from now on, I will need to be stricter about my cancellation policy. 🙏

🐶 CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

• If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give me at least 48 hours’ notice.

• If an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice, a 50% grooming fee will apply.

• If you do not show up for your appointment (no-show), or cancel on the same day / at the last minute, the full grooming fee will be charged.

Why?

Because I reserve that time specifically for your dog. I am waiting for your dog to arrive, and I cannot use that time to groom another client. At such short notice, it is also usually impossible for me to fill the appointment with another dog.

Also, if an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled more than twice, unfortunately your dog will be removed from my regular appointment schedule. I will need to give that space to other dogs who are waiting for an appointment. 🐾

I truly love my job and I look forward to seeing every single one of your dogs. ❤️

So please, I kindly ask you to respect my time in the same way that I respect your time and reserve a space for your dog in my busy schedule.

If you know that you cannot make your appointment, please let me know as early as possible. This gives me the opportunity to offer the appointment to another dog who is waiting. 🐶❤️
