Thank you so much to Jess for leaving such a beautiful review of the Med Ready Bag.
I have found that not many people leave reviews when making a purchase so I really appreciate Jess having taken the time out of her day to leave a review! It means so much!
Interested…do you leave reviews for products you purchase?

These are the things I am not leaving the house without this spring, as a mum of an asthmatic child that has pollen and grass allergies:-
- reliever medication;
- a spacer; and
- antihistamines.
What do you carry to help you manage your asthma and spring allergies?
*not medical advice

Where are you currently holding your family’s medications and health essentials?
The Med Ready bag was designed to keep everything together, organised, protected and ready when needed so you don’t waste time searching for your medications when time is of the essence.
Whether you are managing allergies, fevers or other chronic medical conditions such as epilepsy or diabetes, being organised can make all the difference, especially to your peace of mind.

My son has been de-labelled of his nut allergy but that doesn’t mean we are ready to give up his EpiPen just yet, despite the fact that the allergist said we no longer need to carry it with us at all times.
After years of food anxiety I think it will take a while to get comfortable going to a restaurant without the security blanket of having an EpiPen with us. And in any event we need to carry his Med Ready Bag with us as he needs to have his asthma medications with him at all times, and especially during pollen season.
I’m grateful we have EpiPens with long expiry dates as this gives us time to adjust to life without an allergy label.
And more than anything I am grateful that he has outgrown his allergy and as silly as it sounds I am grateful that he actually had the nut allergy as I will never take something as simple as eating for granted and I will always advocate for children with food allergies.

What I would pack in my Med Ready Bag for baby/toddler…
When you are out and about with your baby or toddler it helps to have everyday medical essentials stored in one easily identifiable grab and go bag.
Some essentials that parents keep in their Med Ready Bag include:
✅A thermometer and pain relief medication
✅Teething gel
✅Antiseptic cream and band aids
✅ Alcohol wipes, sanitiser and saline nasal spray
✅ Specific medications that have been prescribed for their child.
Designed to pop in to your nappy bag or remove the strap and use the carabiner to attach to your pram.
The Med Ready Bag helps to keep those important items organised and within easy reach when you need them most.
It’s the perfect gift for a new mum and mum of a toddler.
Let me know if there are any other medical essentials you would store in your Med Ready Bag…

Thought I would post an update on my son’s food allergy journey.
His skin prick tests were showing positive signs that he may have outgrown his walnut allergy so his allergist recommend an in hospital food challenge.
He and I were extremely nervous but he was so tough and pushed through the anxiety to undertake the challenge and it turns out he could eat walnuts again!!! This was unbelievably overwhelming given previous skin prick tests and reactions had shown he was highly anaphylactic to walnuts!
Then came the at home part of the challenge…feeding him one teaspoon of crushed walnuts every day for seven days to confirm that he had outgrown his allergy and again he passed!!
BUT despite this when introduced to larger chucks of walnut he started getting irritating mouth ulcers. This has set us back a little as it is uncomfortable for him and so we are back to crushed walnuts only. This seems to be something that others have encountered also after a challenge.
However, despite this we are over the moon to have made this much progress and only wish that other allergy families get to make this much progress in their journeys also.

School holidays are just around the corner again…how is that possible?! 😂
This was us in Bali last school holidays with the Med Ready Bag with us at all times, of course.
No Bali for us this time, so the big question is… what are we actually going to do with these kids during the school break? 😂
Love them dearly, obviously… but keeping them entertained when they’re not at school is another story! 😅
What are you all doing these holidays?
Going away? Staying home? Have you got activities planned? Or are you also just winging it and hoping for the best?! 😂
I am still dreaming about our time in Bali.
It had been a number of years since we had travelled to Bali and I must admit I was a little worried given my son’s asthma and nut allergy. However, I was honestly so impressed. Food allergy appeared to be at the forefront of every server’s mind and wherever we ate the restaurants had allergy symbols on their menus.
Of course, I did make sure to carry my son’s Med Ready Bag with us everywhere we went, but overall we felt very safe being in Bali with a food allergy.

The Med Ready Bag’s recent tour of Bali…
From beach days to cafe stops, spa visits and poolside afternoons, it came with us everywhere we went.
📍Juices at N**e Cafe, Berawa
📍Massages at The Rustic Sun Spa, Berawa (yes, my almost 15 year old son had his first ever massage and he loved it!)
📍Poolside at The Conrad, Nusa Dua
📍Lunch at Milk & Madu, Canggu
📍A day at Sundays Beach Club, Uluwata
📍Dinner at Amici, Seminyak
As an allergy mum, I carried my son’s EpiPens and allergy medications with us every day, knowing they were organised, protected and always within reach.
Because when you are travelling with medical needs, being prepared means you can relax and enjoy making memories.
Where should the Med Ready Bag travel to next?

Our hotel in Bali has been so amazing with allergies! So far we have found the Balinese people to be so caring and respectful of allergies. We are very grateful. And our hotel seems to not really use walnuts or pecans in any of their dishes which makes us feel much more at ease. I also feel for other families who have many more allergies than our son does!
On to the next hotel so fingers crossed for the remainder of our journey.
