Meet Wild Chickw**d (Stellaria media) 🌱

Often overlooked as a garden w**d, this delicate star-flowered plant has a long history in traditional herbal skin care for its soothing, calming effects when used on the skin.

I love this little plant and I let it grow wild across my garden, not only for use in my skin care but I eat it regularly as a beneficial (and delicious) green in salads and veggie dishes.

Chickw**d glycerite (a herbal extract made by drawing out the plant's goodness into glycerine) now features in our H**p Seed + Green Clay Solid Shaving Bar.

Its glycerine rich conditioning soap lather helps the razor glide and looks after skin that's prone to irritation.

After a rather spectacular Rosemary explosion in the lab over the weekend...Rosemary round 2 has just gone into the dehydrators! 🤞🏼

Despite best efforts, sometimes things just don't go to plan...and I've had to start my Rosemary infusion project again.

Those of you waiting on the new Rosemary & Olive Leaf hair range, sorry peeps...it's gonna be a little bit longer!

I shall remember this time not to pour cold water in the infusion baths and explode all my glass vessels! 🤦🏼‍♀️🙄

These gorgeous guys have to be one of my favourite visitors to the garden this time of year! ❤️
They only come through winter and the cooler months and they are so chill, just chewing berries and muttering away. They are very social, don't scare easily and love to chatter and check us out.
We are blessed to have a lot of beautiful birds that come to visit, but my beautiful Gang Gang Cockatoos will always be a very special treat!
