Dear friends, we lost the case. We will lost the SL logo after 15 July 2025. IP Australia thinks we have never used the SL logo alone. The Tribunal found that the “SL” mark was frequently used in conjunction with the word “Beauty” and the Chinese characters for “beautiful life,” . The Tribunal’s view is that these three distinct elements (1) the Trade Mark, (2) the word “Beauty,” and (3) the Chinese characters for “beautiful life” created a dissimilarity, meaning the Trade Mark was not being used in its original form.
This lawsuit has troubled us for nearly 2 years and has cost us a lot of time and money. We decided to accept the outcome of the lawsuit and cut our losses in time. Such a very expensive lesson. Anyway, let's look forward to our second logo. Everything will be fine in the future, we still keep a kind and hardworking mentality.
