It was such a pleasure styling everyone for this wedding and while the weather may not have been on our side, you girls were in such good spirits and made the whole morning so special anyway.

Two looks....One very special morning ❤️

Catherine started her wedding day in traditional red for her tea ceremony... then transitioned into her white dress for the aisle!

With a few minor adjustments to her hair, she was able to have a slightly different look for both parts of her wedding day.

It’s always so lovely to witness these special traditions and see the excitement of my bride before she heads down the aisle.

The Do’s and Don’ts for your wedding day.

1. 👎🏼 Don’t use heavy conditioner in your hair right before your styling appointment. This will make your hair limp and harder to hold any style.
👍🏼 instead opt for a lightweight conditioner and apply to just the very ends of your hair.

2. 👎🏼 Don’t wear a hoodie to your appointment!!
👍🏼 Always make sure whatever you wear can be pulled down and stepped out of. Sometimes we overlook the most obvious of things and wearing anything that needs to be pulled over the hair risks everything falling out.

3. 👎🏼 Don’t put any heating tools through your hair after it’s washed. No straighteners or curling tools.
👍🏼 Definitely make sure you dry your hair with a hairdryer and nozzle until it’s 100% dry.

4. 👍🏼 Be prepared for your hairdresser. Have washed your hair, bring along all inspo photos, bring any hair pieces, clips or jewellery you want to wear.

Sunshine, smiles and pretty flowers 💐 the perfect way to start this wedding day for my beautiful bride, Catherine.

Catherine was drawn to a more boho, slightly hippie-inspired style, so I created a soft, pulled-out braid through the back, paired with loose, tousled waves for that effortless feel. She also had two hair accessories she wanted worked in to really bring the whole look together, the perfect finishing touch.

This was such a fun style to create and, best of all, it held beautifully right through to the end of the night 🤍
